One address to give your assistant, then a sign-in with your Polyfact account.
Pick your assistant
- 1 “Settings”, section “Customize”, at the very bottom: “Connectors”. Your initials, at the bottom left of Claude, open the settings.
- 2 At the top right, “Add”, then “Add custom connector”: name Polyfact, the address above. The dialog detects everything: keep the options marked “Detected” (“Connect now”, “Register automatically”), nothing in the headers nor in “Advanced”. Then “Add”.
- 3 On the Polyfact row, “Connect”, then “Allow” on the Polyfact page that opens. Sign in if needed. Back in Claude, Polyfact shows “Connected”.
- 4 In a conversation: “+”, “Connectors”, enable Polyfact. On the first question, choose “Always allow” so it stops interrupting you.
? Not working?
- “Server not found” or an error right after “Add”: check the address ends with “/mcp”, then try again. The first attempt sometimes fails and the second goes through.
- “Authorization failed”, or Polyfact stays “Not connected” or shows “Reconnect”: click that button, then “Allow”. If Claude says the connector already exists, open the “Not connected” tab and click “Connect”.
- The Polyfact page refuses access: your account must belong to a subscribed team. Write to [email protected], we will look with you.
- 1 “Settings”, “Plugins”, then “Advanced settings”: turn on developer mode. On Team, Enterprise and Edu, the workspace administrator turns it on.
- 2 In “Plugins”: “+”, “Create plugin”, then “Create MCP App” at the bottom of the window. Ignore the file upload area.
- 3 Name Polyfact, the address above, OAuth authentication, the trust box, then “Create”. The Polyfact page opens: sign in if needed, then “Allow”. Polyfact appears in the “Personal” tab.
- 4 In a conversation: “+”, “More”, “Developer mode”, tick Polyfact. When ChatGPT proposes a Polyfact call, click “Confirm”.
? Not working?
- “There was a problem connecting”: open the Polyfact plugin in the “Personal” tab and click “Connect”. If the Polyfact page does not open, delete the plugin and start again at step 3.
- No “Create MCP App” button: developer mode is off (step 2), or your administrator has not enabled it.
- ChatGPT answers without using Polyfact: in the conversation, check that “Developer mode” is on and Polyfact is ticked (step 7).
- 1 In Vibe, left menu “Context”, then “Connectors”. At the top right of the Marketplace, click “Add a custom connector”. You need to be an administrator of the workspace.
- 2 Connector name: polyfact. Server: the address above. Description (optional): paste the text below. Authentication: leave “OAuth2.1” and do not open “Advanced OAuth Settings”. Confirm.
- 3 The Polyfact window opens: sign in with your Polyfact account, then “Allow”. Nothing opens? In the connectors list, click “Connect” on the Polyfact row.
- 4 In a conversation: “/” or “+”, then “Tools”, enable Polyfact and ask your question. It is off by default: enable it once per conversation.
? Not working?
- The name is refused: remove spaces and capitals (“polyfact”).
- The connection fails: on the Polyfact row, click “Connect” again; if nothing opens, delete the connector and start again.
- Mistral answers without Polyfact: enable it in the conversation (step 4), it is off by default.
- The answer stops short: Mistral cuts a search that runs too long. Ask one question at a time, over a short period.
- 1 Claude Code: paste this command in the terminal.

- 3 Cursor and VS Code: one click below. Other clients: an MCP server of type HTTP with the address above. Install in Cursor Install in VS Code You are asked to sign in on the first call. An agent with no browser? Ask us for a team key.
? Not working?
- “/mcp” shows polyfact “needs authentication”: run “Authenticate” again; if the browser does not open, copy the link printed in the terminal.
- The server does not answer: check the address (“/mcp” at the end); https://mcp.polyfact.com must open in your browser.

The assistant cites the Polyfact page of the document behind each sentence, and the video to the second when it reports words. You check in one click and share the source, not a summary.

An open question gets the best results. When you ask for a list or a number, the assistant counts, narrows the period and fetches what is missing before answering, and a list is only called complete when it is.

Any team subscribed to Polyfact. You sign in with your Polyfact account, and the assistant gets your team's scope, nothing more. An account without an active team cannot connect.
Claude, ChatGPT (in developer mode) and Mistral Vibe, formerly Le Chat, connect in a few clicks. Claude Code, Cursor and any agent that speaks the MCP protocol connect with the same address. More assistants will follow.
Search everything Polyfact collects, count, open a legislative dossier to give its official state, read the transcript of a sitting or a hearing, check the institutional agenda, find a parliamentarian by name. It reads; it writes nothing.
