Thank you, Madam Speaker. My question is for the Education Minister. Eight hundred thousand pupils sat the history paper on Monday, and the wording it used does not match the historical record. Words have a meaning, and that regime had a precise, official name.

It was a political choice, one that deliberately erased the name of the French Republic. Behind my question, Minister, do not see a local grievance but a national requirement.

This is not the first time elected members have taken up this fight, and more than eighty years on the question is still with us.
