Polyfact for the press

Polyfact SAS builds a monitoring platform for public affairs professionals: in-house public affairs teams, consultancies, trade federations and unions, local authorities. The material is public, but scattered across dozens of portals — which is exactly what makes manual monitoring so costly.

We collect the Assemblée nationale, the Sénat, Légifrance and the official journal, French regulators and independent authorities, EU institutions, the press and X. Those sources are read and connected by AI, in text and in video, and every claim stays tied to its source: the official document, the amendment, or the exact second of video. Coverage is partial, and published as such.

One clarification, to avoid a common misreading: the full video corpus exceeds 27,000 institutional and media videos, more than 16,000 of them transcribed — not all are parliamentary, and not all are transcribed. So we only communicate the parliamentary subset above.

First angle: AI applied to democratic transparency. What is said and voted on in Parliament is public, but unreadable at scale — thousands of hours of plenary and committee sittings every year. Making that corpus searchable sentence by sentence changes what a researcher, a citizen or a journalist can verify.

Second angle: timestamped parliamentary video. Debates are filmed, but rarely usable. Polyfact transcribes them, indexes them by speaker and timestamps them to the second: over 11,000 videos from the Assemblée nationale, more than 9,000 of them transcribed. You quote the exact remark, not a corridor rumour.

Finally, our data feeds an open research programme, Polyfact Research: quantitative studies published together with their method and their limits. The first traces the life cycle of 25 political formulas across 8,957 transcribed sittings — 114 million words — and was produced for the Assemblée nationale's 2026 hackathon. These studies are citable and freely available.

The kit contains the Polyfact logotype in colour and in white monochrome, the icon alone for small formats, and the sharing image used on our public pages.
