Live transcription

Every word, attributed to whoever said it

Chamber and committee feeds are transcribed as they broadcast. Each passage carries the member, their party and its timecode, so you can quote the record instead of paraphrasing it.

  • Verbatim transcript, seconds behind the broadcast
  • Member, party and timecode on every passage
  • Jump from any sentence to that second of video

Frequently asked questions

Which sittings are covered?

Plenary sittings and committees of the Assemblée nationale and the Sénat, the European Parliament, the Élysée and the CESE, and the parliaments of the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia and Japan. Every channel we follow is on the home page; the list grows institution by institution.

Can I search during the sitting, or only afterwards?

During. Transcription runs a few seconds behind the broadcast: you search for a word in a hearing that has not ended yet. Chapters, the summary and speaker attribution arrive a few minutes after the end.

How do I make sure of a passage before quoting it?

Every sentence is timestamped and tied to that second of video: you replay the excerpt, then quote it with the link to the official source. One click cuts the excerpt into a clip to share, transcript included.

Will I be told when my topic comes up?

Yes. Set an alert on a keyword, a text or a speaker: the moment it is said in the chamber or in committee, you receive the passage with its timestamp.

How do I try it?
